"The Blue Boar"

We had lunch out today at this newly reopened (dog friendly) pub in the lovely village of Walsham-le-Willows about thirty minutes from Bury St Edmunds. The food was of the highest quality with a warm welcome from a young couple with two children who took over the premises in the Summer of this year. In fact it was so nice we decided to book our Christmas Day lunch there as only being the two of us they were able to fit us in at short notice. I think we are going to be more than happy with our Christmas Day lunch by the high standard of what the Chef produced today. Alongside the traditional Roast Turkey the Christmas Day menu is quite varied and very different and it will make a nice change not having to cook at home. Hopefully Bracken will be more than happy with his "doggy bag" we will bring him back after spending a couple of hours on his own Christmas Day!
