went to see the refurbished royal festival hall this morning. got there early to beat the crowds so had time for a hearty breakfast.

the place will be great - when it's finished. there's a bucketload of 'snagging' to be done and it was looking, frankly, unfinished. a real surprise given all the fanfare and hoop-la there's been over its reopenng.

we got into the concert hall, which was actually amazing and beautiful and wonderful. you could see that all the effort had gone into getting that done.

here's a blip of the 'sanctioned' graffitti/skateboard area under the hayward gallery as i fancied a bit of colour today. what a contrast to the refined fifities design of the festival hall.
