Heads, Brighton West Pier

Every weekend there's arts and crafts stalls at Brighton West Pier. This was one of those decisive moments. I noticed the hats stall, and just waited for someone to walk into the frame. I love the fact the the colour of her jumper matches the red hat, which is the point of focus. I wasn't even thinking about the West Pier when I pressed the shutter, but somehow, being out of focus, the horizontal and vertical structure of the pier counter the diagonal formed by the heads.
