Christmas decoration

I helped my granddaughters yesterday decorate their tree. I was amused to remember this one I had sent to my daughter 5-6 yrs ago when I lived in Darwin. This is a seed case from a Mahogany tree, a tropical hardwood that grows abundantly in the area. Children would collect these seed pods , then paint them and sell them at the Christmas markets I love the ladybird design on this one.
