Double dewdrop

A bright and sparkiling morning - just right for a trip out to Upwood Meadows to check my habitat map. On the way back Rosie and I dropped into Holme Fen. The minor roads which provide access have recently been closed for resurfacing, so it's the first time I've visited for a while. I must say it's nice to drive along without worrying about grounding the car or damaging the wheels on deep potholes.

After last nights rain and the chilly start, the grass was covered with dew. I couldn't resist getting my knees wet to capture this paired droplet.
