My dear husband decided to take the day off work today so he could go to the breakers yard with his Dad to get a Beetle engine and gearbox. Only my husband has scrap yards texting him when VW's get taken in!

I was only supposed to be making a flying visit to Dad's house to get him a mirror, but of course I stayed for over an hour and a half cleaning some pots and pans that we will take to the charity shops. I got home, had lunch and then scrubbed and rearranged the conservatory to accommodate the junk we will fill it with over Christmas. Got a tad carried away and scrubbed the back room too. Now to get the junk room done and I will be a happy bunny (this will be a huge, at least a week-long, job).

Then for some unknown reason we all decided we wanted to go out, so we went to Lakeside to get the 9 year old some more clothes. She wasn't bothered and our 8 year old cried as she wanted more clothes (she has 3 times as many as her sister). Oh well, we all came home happy so a good trip out.
