Blip Of The Week

Hi peeps - Blip Of The Week time again.

Every week it gets harder to to make a choice and this week was no exception. We've some wonderful pictures here at Blipcentral but a choice has to be made and here it is from Big Red 1977.

We made this choice for a number of reasons. One, it's an extraordinary image, two it's an important record of an extremely rare event and three, the charm of the description. Have a read and find out for yourself.

Who would have thought we would have seen a daily commute looking like a Martian urban landscape? We hope you'll agree it's a fine record of an exceptional day.
