Tonight we went to my son's old secondary school's awards ceremony. Here is a picture of Daniel on the stage, receiving a cheque (hooray!) and certficate from the kind lady who, due to my faffing (as the photo was so bad) I've turned a little silver and made look her look a bit like the Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz! (sorry). Asad Ahmed from the BBC was there too (right hand corner of the picture), as he was a former pupil of the school.

It was good to see some of the teachers again too, who must have been very tired after a full day at school. The students were very well behaved too tonight (which isn't always the case at those events!), so a good event overall!
