Little Mouse

I've been on a taxidermy course today, led by Nicola Hebson. It was a fascinating session - and everyone came home with their own stuffed mouse at the end of the day. Nicola is a vegan taxidermist, and her mice are all animals that either road kill, or in this case originally destined to be food sold for pets like snakes.

We watched Nicola first, as she demonstrated the techniques, then we were let loose on our own mice! It's not something to have a go at if you're squeamish, but it was strangely satisfying to do... and I'm really proud of my slightly wonky creation.
