An unexpected start to the week....

......had to take an enforced half day from work as Owen hadn't quite recovered from death yesterday, and was sent home from school for being unwell.

We sat outside for a while enjoying the occasional bouts of sunshine and hacking coughs (I'm not convinced that lying in a dark bedroom is a good remedy for illness). Owen had some Halloween jellies leftover from yesterday, so I tried a social experiment when asked, "Dad, how many can I have?"....."as many as you want son, but be aware that if you eat the whole bag, you'll be sick"...."OK".......

.....the empty bag is in my pocket now and I'm waiting for the inevitable result. Experiment failed.
