Sound II at Winchester Cathedral

A day off for both Matthew and I so we decided to visit Winchester as I have long wanted to see the Cathedral and Sound II, also there was Christmas Market around the Cathedral.

Not disappointed by either thing, only that we could only admire Sound II from a distance and there was no water for him to stand in! Christmas market was very festive!

Sound II is an Antony Gormley sculpture and stands in the Crypt at Winchester Cathedral. It is described as "This mysterious life-size statue of a man contemplating the water held in his cupped hands"
