Goodbye Dubai

Up at 4am to get the shuttle bus to Dubai Airport and a bit of a wait for the flight which was at 9.40am.

During the flight I watched a couple of films, MrD and my new found friend both slept soundly - on reaching London Heathrow we were in a bit of a queue and spent about half an hour flying round before we finally landed.

Tube to Kensington and checked in to Copthorne Tara which turned out to be a real bargain.

Went looking for food and discovered Balans which had a lovely atmosphere, great food (coeliac friendly!) and staff who were a joy. We had breakfast there on Sunday and Monday too!

Early night to catch up on all the lost sleep ....
