Well Met

The dogs met another good friend on the beach today. Bobbi Bob is his name, he is such a gentleman, patient with their rather robust overtures of friendship, you can see this from his expression.

He was not always so patient, his owners have worked extremely hard to achieve this and I take my hat off to them. A year ago Bobbi was a barking, lead pulling nightmare of a dog that they didn't dare let off the lead. This was through no fault of his own. For the first 5 years of his life he was owned by 2 elderly ladies who were unable to take him for walks. Consequently he was not socialised with other dogs and had no experience of the outdoors. Under all this aggression and fear was a beautiful, patient, loving dog who has now been encouraged to be himself.
