NUMBER 16

16 tourist sights in London....today as tennis was off due to the rain and I was concerned that it was so easy to get lost on our underground system I headed up to London with this lovely young man (see yesterday's blip)... We went to London and........ (1-16) saw the Shard,through Hays Galleria, passed HMS Belfast, over Tower Bridge, round St Katherine's Dock, passed The Tower of London, we climbed 311 steps to the top of the Monument, over London Bridge, had a cuppa in Southwark Cathedral, swathe Golden Hinde, peeked in at the globe, shopped at market on the south bank, saw the London eye, Big Ben and The Houses of Parliament in the distance!
ThenI got on the wrong train home and ended up taking nearly 2 hours to do a 30 minute journey!
