Marine pendulum clinometer

Wow - what a mouthful! I always thought it was an "inclinometer" but Google tells me otherwise. I have always had a love of ships and the sea, and this instrument was hand made by me some 45 years ago in a Junior High School workshop.

Mom still has it hanging on the wall in her home, although I seriously doubt it ever sees any action :)

These days, I'm sure clinometers are totally digital. Perhaps "Little Mariner" or "Master Mariner" will weigh in on this topic later?

Look carefully, and you may be able to spot my mistake on the port side of the instrument. Hey... it was almost a half century ago :)
