Remains

What's left of a sow thistle seed head when the seeds have all blown away. I like the way the load of rainwater reflected the overcast sky to make it silvery.

Rain all day. I had to confine my gardening to the greenhouse. The tomatoes are growing fast and there was plenty of tying, lateraling and leaf pruning to do after only four days.

I made up a second batch of cheese. Unfortunately I let it get too warm and it went lumpy. It still tastes fine, but I prefer a silky texture.
