Moonscape
After my very long winded travelogue yesterday, I will spare the gory details of my return trip today. Thank you for those who endured the tour. Although I did see several herd of wild burros and horses today. I stopped at one point to take some photos of wild burros, but they took off in a hurry. All I got were dust clouds.
I took this shot just north of the turn off for Silver Peak. I love the contrast of light on the hills. While I liked the colored version, shown Here, I also liked it in mono. It seemed to me like the old pictures we say of the surface of the moon.
I am very tired tonight, but feeling like I accomplished what I needed to. So, now I can focus on family arrivals and the Christmas holiday.
I hope that you are enjoying the season!
