Typewriter...

I went out to see my folks tonight mainly to give my Dad his token birthday present... obviously his Christmas pressie is huge! Having a birthday in December must suck!

I had asked a few weeks ago about the old Imperial typewriter but apparently it was thrown out. Imagine throwing that old beauty out and keeping this??! *shakes head*

It works... just... well except the 'f' so clearly I used 'f' words a lot... I know, hard to believe! It smells too. That 'been stored in the loft for thirty years' kinda smell but I'm quite impressed it still works. To type a letter it would take about four days!

I quite like the whole typewriting thing though. I learnt to type on a typewriter at school. They were electric though... not quite Imperials!
