Sleepyhead managed to visit today after yesterday's horrendous weather and we spent the day eating, drinking, laughing and blethering and blethering and blethering some more.

I got to hear tales of his mega summer expedition down under (the adventure starts HERE. Well worth a look if you're not familiar with his journal) and as ever the time seemed to fly.

He stayed for tea and I sent him off with a doggy bag of left over banoffee pie and a pile of yesterday's cookies.
