A penguin, a polar bear and a tree

In stark contrast to our home in Canada, Christmas is relatively low-key in our Amsterdam neighbourhood. However, more and more decorations go up every day. Some people have lovely trees in their apartments so they leave the curtains open to share the sparkle with their neighbours. On our street, only one balcony is decorated and this is it. Decked out with a polar bear that moves his head from side to side, a penguin on a chair and a tree in the window, it adds a nice sparkle to the street.
