Walchensee

We went out to visit our friend M today. He's quite recently bought a flat in the ominously-titled-but-actually-very-pretty Wolfratshausen (and a very pretty flat it is too).

It's quite close to the mountains and so we decided to get a bit nearer. We drove through some awesome countryside (and I finally got to see the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany) and ended up at the Walchensee.

Crystal clear water, very bayerische (you say Bavarian and I don't) architecture and very beautiful.
