The butcher in our town is great. Not only can he get you pretty much any cut of any meat they do a mean steak pie and lots of home made pies and dishes too.

What's a butcher got to do with these lovely looking berries I hear you ask ... well, they also stock some local produce - whatever is in season.

Yesterday it was these Scottish strawberries. And yes, they are as delicious as they look :-)

A fab afternoon cycling round the Pentlands and a fab roast dinner too - even better that I didn't have to cook it and that it was unexpected.
