It's the time of year when a visit from a sales rep is to be welcomed.

In the dim and distant past, reps used to reward their customers at Xmas with a token of appreciation for business placed.

When I was 'on the road' this expense had to be paid for personally and it became quite expensive, especially if there were a lot if accounts.

Nowadays it's the norm to drop off a couple of tins of sweeties and today we received our first batch.
