Day for Night

Believe it or not this shot of an alley of small shops in Newport was taken at about 11AM. Following a night of heavy rain it has barely become light with lowering clouds and torrential showers. Not what the local traders were wishing for the week before Christmas as was evidenced by the almost empty streets. Sadly the forecast for the rest of the week is pretty grim with gales and rain promised.
