Sunset sky and moon

A most enjoyable evening sharing food and fellowship at the home of some friends from church. There were perhaps 15-20 of us. We had thought Roger would be arriving late, as he had been at Plaisir, west of Versailles the last three days - it took him 2 hrs and 20 minutes to get there Tuesday morning, so we were imagining a similar drive back, but fortunately they finished early, so he was home early enough for us to drive together. The food (potluck style) was delicious, with champagne to accompany it! There was a lot of good conversation, a few people shared some favorite verses or poetry, and our locum chaplain wrapped it up with a few words, followed by a blessing. A lovely evening to prepare our hearts and minds for Christmas.
