The Christmas Tree is back in all its glory
This time you'll see it before Christmas rather than just before it is taken down. Susan's pride and joy and doesn't it look good, as good as last year and is admired by all who see it.
Jolly difficult to capture though owing to the vast contrast of light, the bright lights in danger of burning out while the darker background not being exposed. I tried all sorts of settings - candlelight, stars, various iPhone apps and what worked best was the programmable setting with most settings on auto! Well I never.
Went up to see Matthew and Tina and granddaughter Miya in the morning to deliver her presents and stuff for Matt and Tina. Called in at Asda on the way back for the last of the Christmas presents, a bottle of Glenrothes whisky for brother-in-law David - who is a Scot and knows his whisky.
After an afternoon of pottering we went walking and go drenched on the way back and had to change before going up to Doreen's for dinner. Face Timed Chris in San Diego where the weather proved to be sunny. Found them both exhausted having entertained a couple of young boys for about 24 hours!
So ends another week, Monday morning beckons
