Spoonbills

Doug and I went for a walk around the Wetlands (that are Drylands at the moment). Saltwater Creek has totally stopped flowing at one point, could walk across the mud (if you were game). Anyrate.....possibly up to 20 spoonbills were feeding in the creek so a ton of choice but I really wanting more action than a group of birds feeding, Doug made a noise and they took off but only just for bit, then landing and set about feeding again.

Much better in large!

We have just had a thunderstorm which produced some rain but short and sweet unfortunately.
