Memory baubles

I'm not much of a glittery/trinkety person but some things are a shiny happy minding of good times past and present.

This bauble is one such thing, bringing back memories of family christmas moments, like decorating the tree for the house, and thoughts of presents which would soon appear under it!

The bauble has moved with me for more years than I care to remember, and it was previously owned by my parents. It doesn't really go with my more stylish green & gold baubles, but I love it. It sits next to some battered, cheap and tatty xmas mini-crackers from the same era, and the sepia-toned mental images make them all glow.
