Testing Trousers

Purchased new trousers, waterproof, as they should be for money paid; so decided to try them out on a walk over fields to next village. In the rain of course, husband decided to stay at home. They are waterproof but have discovered that the boots are leaking, small leak but none -the- less a leak where a crease has developed. More expense or Christmas request?

Another Carol Service, this time we all held our own candles and strangely no one got burnt and nothing caught fire. That's because the majority of people have common sense I am glad to report, and some were children in church this evening. It was a lovely service and it was announced that our recently retired vicar and wife became grand parents to a boy last night. Splendid end to the weekend.
