Slightly fuzzy family photo

A leisurely morning and then round to our friends Helen and Jonathon for Sunday lunch. It was great to catch up and wonderful to be cooked for.

Once again this photo is not technically very good but in the evenings we tend to dim the lights in the living room in a vain attempt to provide a restful environment for baby S so that he sleeps in his moses basket. Sadly he is still at the stage where he wails like a banshee in the evening but we are hoping this week to start a bit of a bedtime routine so we can possibly get our evening back!

For those who are curious, yes those are socks on the wee mans hands. We haven't got the two extremities mixed up in our sleep deprived state, its just that scratch mitts are useless and as he flails at his face a lot of the time in the evening the socks help him scratching himself. He also looks quite special and we can add this to the plethora of embarresing photos we have of him already to be wheeled out at inappropriate moments ( introduction to first girlfriends for example...)
