Just a bauble

I guess there'll be a few of these over the next 10 days, but the day has just about expired and it is probably unusual for us to have our tree up and decorated a full 10 days before Christmas. My week starts gently, but it will hot up as the week goes on and then it will be full steam ahead until Boxing Day.
There will also be at least one funeral to arrange in church. I was visited after church by the family of a member of our congregation, a very dear sweet lady, who died yesterday. So thankful I had managed to see her in hospital on Thursday, but with no indications that she was so close to the end of her life. Being a vicar isn't always easy, but it is an absolute privilege.
