A Sunday Moon
No Geminids for me last night, probably a bit of a long shot with the moon being so big and bright.
But it clouded over and ended up very windy with lashing rain.
I'm beginning to think I shouldn't declare any intent to view comets, meteor showers and the like, just sneak up on them and catch them unexpectedly ;-)
Today started of lovely and calm at break of day, but it wasn't to last. howling winds and some really purposeful rain were the chef's special of the day.
It cleared up on night fall and I was treated to a lovely red sky as the cloud started to break up.
Venus was big and beautiful as ever seen from the naughty step.
Unfortunately it didn't break up well enough for seeing the ISS pass at 1711.
It's pretty changeable outside crystal clear then hazy as the wind persists.
Did try using the cat again tonight, not great, the wind is making it difficult to keep the cat steady out on the naughty step. But the best of a bad bunch is here
Hevelius Crater
So it's back to old faithful again
Hope you've all had a good day
