Had a busy day today - this morning we put up the Christmas tree that Theo and I bought yesterday. Took about two hours to move the furniture around, cut lower branches off the tree, balance it in its stand and then wedge it to look more-or-less straight. Then I left the decoration to Kate and the children. Quick lunch, then off carol singing with fellow choir members at some local residential care homes for the elderly. Got soaking wet on the way back. Once at home I cooked supper for everyone - sticky roasted chicken/potato/tomato/oregano - very tasty.
