Swanage Station: Santa Special

Santa has been working very hard in Swanage, but only on weekends.


This is in a sense a repeat of my Blipfoto uploaded only a week ago.

However, the lighting conditions then were very different. Last Sunday Swanage was in bright sunlight, and I needed to bracket three exposures in order to capture the full range of brightness from lightest to darkest. The quality of the detail was such that I decided to give the image an "old-fashioned" black and white look.

This afternoon was overcast and damp, so there was by comparison a much reduced range of brightness, ample for a single photograph.
