Fishy plates

I don't collect fishy plates. It's sheer coincidence that I happen to have three on my sitting-room wall.

The left-hand one I bought in Brittany the year (1972) I worked as a nanny for a French family who holidayed in Douarnenez. The blue and white one was a cheap souvenir from a walking holiday in Andalusia, and the bottom one once belonged to friend Gill's mum and was given to me in remembrance when her mum died.

Can you tell I've been bored today?
