James Graham of The Twilight Sad

Through to Edinburgh to see The Twilight Sad play at the Liquid Rooms with my mate Scott. Started off with a quick pint at The Malt Shovel and then over the hill into Victoria Street to see the band. Missed the first support act but caught the second, Conquering Animal Sounds. Interesting but maybe not my cup of tea, very Bjork-esque in parts.

The Twighlight Sad came on and they do sound a bit different when they don't have a 70 piece orchestra in front of them like when I saw them at Paisley Abbey. All in all a very good set though with The Liquid Rooms being the way they are the gig was over by 10 sharp. Still there was time for a couple of pints at The Malt Shovel before heading back home.
