The Gingerbread House.
Today I went with my daughter to the school where she teaches. The children in some of the classes, with help, have been making gingerbread houses as their Christmas Holiday project The finishing touches were being done today, in readiness for judging when school breaks up next Thursday. The roof was made of shredded wheat and the fir trees were ice cream cones with green icing piped around them, very effective. The centre was a ginger sponge and they had even made a Nativity scene set in the ' snow' covered garden. My daughter Georgia is on the right along with the other teachers who helped. Until she and my grandchildren break up for the holidays, my blips will be pot luck !
