A cacophony of color and memories

Two days later, my tree done and happy.
There is a lot going on here.
It is also placed under the old stove pipe. So ignore that.
Last year I spent. $75.00 on a tree. It was too fat and a real pain to put ornaments on. Some stuck straight out. It was pitiful. So this year 35.00 and it has open spaces all over it, perfect for hiding cool little fairies and old ornaments.

As I placed the ornaments I remembered each one and where they came from. Some were gifts. My husband and I bought some together. Some I have from my Mom. (I broke one of those putting them on

The last year with my Mom , I convinced her to let me bring over all of my ornaments and do a tree for her. We ooooed and ahhhed over the pretty ones and explained the not so pretty ones as gifts and how I couldn't get rid of them.
She would call me at night and tell me how happy it made her.
So yesterday, and today 'cause it took two days. I chose to have happy memories.
My Dad is happy.

Oh and we are supposed to have about 8 to 12 inches of snow tonight. It was supposed to have started at 6pm. It's 830 and no snow yet. Dad said it's too late it can't come now.
We'll see.
