Winter Wonderland Toernooi

It was a fun night at the curling club, with a social funspiel celebrating winter. We played two-end games against three other teams and then a final two-end game. It was a nice way to play eight ends and meet everyone on the ice.

Some curlers dressed up for the occasion. One couple were a herd of two reindeer. There was one Santa and one penguin. All I could muster up was a glittery sweater.

Our team was the Vriezende Rendieren - Freezing Reindeer. Also, in this photo are the Gure Winterkoninkjes. From left to right: Kimberly, Jaap (the penguin), Wil (the reindeer), Dennis, Me, Wim, and Gerritt. Jan is behind the camera, snapping the photo. Our team, skipped by Wim, with Wil and Dennis, prevailed against good competition and won all of our games.
