You have to smile

The human race is essentially very silly. The trouble is, the very very silly seem to end up in the positions where they are telling the only slightly silly what they should be doing. It's all very silly.
On a not too dissimilar note I want to grow a beard. B says not no way. I suppose if I want to enjoy the full gammut of privileges afforded to a happily married man then I should shave it off.
