"let the cymbals ring"

I first found out about this concert last year after thinking it might help to get me into a festive mood however all it actually managed to do was give me a sore bottom as it was very long!

This year they made it shorter, cutting out the choir completely, meaning it was 2hrs of relatively good concert band music. A few pitching issues but for a amateur performance it was very good! My favourite bit was the Harry Potter collection. There's just something about that music set that gives me goosebumps every time I hear it!

Did it succeed this year in getting me into a festive mood..? Well, the mince pie at the end helped! :)
