Garden of Tranquility

After stopping off at the post room to pick up another delivery of Christmas cards I went back to the apartment through the gardens and paused to capture these birds of paradise in their natural habitat. From here it is hard to believe that poor old Scotland is once again being battered by storms. It makes me feel very lucky.
