Old graffiti

Apologies but I am taking a one day break from the DDW challenge. I should be blipping a tree today but I wanted to share Edward II's tomb. It looks like there is some very old graffiti on it if you look carefully. My brief research on him suggests he wasn't a very popular king and he appears to have been murdered in a Gloucestershire castle. If you look super closely you can spot some round holes near the crown and apparently these originally contained jewels. Wonder how long it took before they got flinched and who by? Managed to listen to a little bit of a live carol concert in the cathedral today and that was rather lovely. Still feels too warm to be Xmas but hey I'm not complaining! Full of a cold. . .sneezy
