Through The Gap

A very busy day, today. I got the shopping done in the morning and returned just in time to grab a bit of lunch before rushing off to take my wife's class for the afternoon. It was a good session - I did games with them, which meant giving them the opportunity to kill each other with uni-hoc sticks! It wasn't really as bad as that. They played several games of four minute five-a-side hockey in the sports hall and as the afternoon went on, I saw some really good improvements in many of the children, both boys and girls, from the first game. I think they enjoyed it - and the worst injury I had was when one of the girls banged her knee as she came on to start the next game.

It was dull and cloudy all day, but as I walked home, the sun began to break through. As I walked along, I spotted this view between two of the houses, so went into the house, picked up the camera and big telephoto lens and went back out to get this shot of the layers of landscape receding into Cornwall.
