The crowds have gone but the sky is blue!

Up early to meet the gang for breakfast in the coffee shop. Took this shot of Brighton as I walked along Marine Parade. As can be seen it was almost deserted but this wasn't reflected later in the shopping centre which was teaming with people.

I have been thrown slightly this year, as youngest son will be returning from his travels on Monday and will therefore now be here for Christmas and his birthday (which is on the same day.) I thought he would be away until at least April so had given him presents for both occasions before he travelled. Children, whatever their age, have very short memories so I am now hunting around for "extras" to be opened on the day.

Haven't written a Christmas card yet either. Sometimes, I am ashamed to say, I feel that I can't be bothered. Just call me Scrooge.
