Scarily Realistic Effigy of Lord Nelson

This is one of the effigies of royal and prominent personages that were exhibited in Westminster Abbey.

They were modelled from life or death and this one of Horatio Lord Nelson was said to be an excellent resemblance. Remarkably many of the clothes are Nelsons.

The effigies are now housed in the 11th Century undercroft under the former monks dormitory off the cloisters.
