Festival fun

Had a walk in Festival Gardens today. Nearly got blown away! A look out at the Mersey gave glimpses of lots of 'white horses' on the surface of the water.

We are made of stern stuff, though, and doggedly remained joyful as we pressed on through the gale. Found some pine cones to add to the chick's collection before deciding we had had quite enough fun and returned with all haste to the car.
