Eclecticism

Eclectic. From the Greek ἐκλέγειν to select. That which borrows or is borrowed from diverse sources.

Hence an eclectic collection. For example a jade tree, a sea shell and a bonsai white Indian elephant in a blue ceramic bowl. The sort of thing you put together on a dark, windy, wet Saturday afternoon.
