Angel of the North

This week, I am on a wee road trip down south to visit family and friends.

I cannot tell you how many times I have driven past the Angel of the North and thought 'I must stop and have a closer look sometime'.......and so today I did!

I absolutely love this statue - I think it is magnificent and it's HUGE up close!!!
