The Royal by night

Then suddenly we're eleven days into #crism and it occurs to me that I haven't even made a pot of mulled wine yet. And I haven't written a single Christmas card! Or... or.... Actually, maybe that's all I need to do :-)

But not today, as the Minx and child are travelling up to have dinner with Dean and me. It is all a bit hectic, what with swimming and having to go to work and everything. But I found time to get to Booths and buy the ingredients for spaghetti bolognese and even managed to get cooking early enough that we didn't up eating with everyone falling asleep in their food.

It was, I have to say, a particularly fine meal accompanied by some very pleasant wine from Naked but it's the company that makes the meal and here are my lovely friends.
